MTS says IFRS April–June revenue rises 10.6% to 128.6 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Aug 19 (PRIME) -- Revenue of major Russian mobile operator MTS increased by 10.6% on the year to 128.6 billion rubles in April–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said on Thursday in a statement.

Adjusted operating income before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) rose by 10.2% to 57.2 billion rubles. Operating profit grew by 15.5% to 30.4 billion rubles.

The profit attributable to MTS’ owners soared by 46.5% to 17.2 billion rubles.

Cash capital expenditures advanced by 28.3% to 25.8 billion rubles.

The net debt widened by 23.4% to 348.5 billion rubles.

MTS said it currently expects high-single-digit growth for the 2021 group revenue, at least a 5% rise for adjusted OIBDA, and cash capital expenditures of 100–110 billion rubles, including the required investment under the data retention law.
